QR Codes are two-dimensional barcodes that serve as quick and efficient access points to web pages. An individual can retrieve encoded information, such as a URL or website, easily by scanning a QR code with their smartphone.
Now the next question is, why should you create an online memorial page for someone that passed away a year ago, 5 years ago or even 20? Well sharing someone's legacy helps keep a loved one's memory alive. History impacts many of us, it makes us who we are today with the choices our ancestors made. QR codes are a way to expand above and beyond the traditional gravestone markings. With all smartphones having built in scanners in their cameras, you can easily access QR code links with your phone within seconds!
How To Scan:
1. Simply open your camera app on your phone
2. Hover your phone over the QR Code until a link pops up
3. Click the link to open your personal Memorial Page
How To Apply Plate:
1. Thoroughly clean the stone surface with a wipe to remove any dirt or dust. It is important to allow the stone to dry completely
2. Afterwards, carefully peel off the tape's backing
3. Select a location for mounting the sign and level it appropriately (Once attached, it is not easily removable and has a risk of ruining the tape)
4. Ensure that the sign is securely bonded by pressing firmly on the surface and holding it for a minute

In order to create a memorial page for your loved one, we recommend you having the following on hand:
- Name of your loved one
- Dates of Birth and Dates of Death
- 1 to 15 Photos of your loved one pre-scanned or in digital format for us to scan
- 30 Second Videos (1 each person)
- Your Custom Stories you want attached to the Photos or Video pre-written
Once your online memorial is created the only way of accessing it is through the link when scanned or shared by you! Too many companies now and days like public access to the pages they created but with Faces Of SD&G it is our due diligence to minimize the online traffic to "our" webpage and focus more on the memorial pages you have created bringing more traffic in cemeteries so loved ones always have visitors. We do not publish your memorial pages for ONLINE public access unless shared by you to friends and family with the personalized link provided.
